Curriculum

London and Paris International Nursery is an English / French bilingual nursery.

We follow the National British EYFS Curriculum and French Curriculum. This bilingual programme will successfully prepare children with the knowledge and skills to enter a British school’s KG1 / KG2 or French school’s petit / moyenne section.

The EYFS is made up out of seven (7) areas of learning and development which comprises of

Being active and interactive. Develop co-ordination, control and movement. To understand the importance and benefits of physical activity and to make healthy food choices.
AlIt helps children to develop a positive sense of themselves and others. Forming positive relationship and develop respect for others. To manage their feelings, understand appropriate behavior and to have confidence in their own abilities.
Your child will have the opportunities to experience a rich language environment that will help them build their confidence and skills to be able to express themselves and to speak and listen in a range of different situation.
Encouraging children to link sounds and letters to begin read and write. Children have access to a wide range of reading materials to ignite their interest.
Enabling children to explore and play with a wide range of media materials providing opportunities to share their ideas, thoughts, and feelings through various activities in art, music, dance, role-play, and design.
To develop and improve their counting skills, how to use numbers, simple addition, subtraction, and to describe shape, space and measures.
Guiding children to make sense of their physical world and community through opportunities to explore, observe and find out about people, places, nature and technology.

The EYFS frame work sets the standards to ensure that children learn and develop well in a safe and secure environment. At London and Paris International Nursery, it is our objective to provide outstanding childcare practice to give each child the best possible start in life. A well planned activities and resources are on offer for children throughout the day, encouraging learning, growth, and fun! Nursery activities includes music sessions, creative fun, story-time, sensory play, swimming, ballet, gymnastic and a wealth of outdoor play. These activities provide both stimulation and opportunity for development of confidence and self-esteem. Children learn about the world around them, nature and an abundance of language development as well the development of early literacy skills.
